Katie’s Marathon
A huge congratulations to Katie King, our Assistant Engineering Manager, who recently completed the Manchester Marathon in an incredible 4 hours and 6 minutes while raising an outstanding £1,187.50 for Bury Hospice.
Balancing the demands of marathon training alongside her role at AF Fasteners Ltd and her ongoing Degree Apprenticeship in Materials Science is a remarkable achievement and reflects the determination, discipline and commitment Katie brings to everything she does.
Katie is an incredible asset to the team, consistently demonstrating professionalism, drive and a positive attitude both within the workplace and beyond. Her dedication to supporting such an important local charity while taking on one of the UK’s most challenging endurance events is something everyone at AF Fasteners Ltd is extremely proud of.
