OUR HISTORY
AF Fasteners began life in the Derbyshire Peak District over 90 years ago.
The privately owned company originally began in cold forging, manufacturing specialist bolts for the mining and quarry industries. Over 50 years ago, the company harnessed 40 years of experience and knowledge and entered the aerospace industry as a high-performance manufacturer of precision fasteners.
Over the years, the company has grown steadily and in October 2000, AF Fasteners re-located to Glossop, just a mile away from where the company was founded. New larger premises would facilitate the steadily increasing demand and expansion of the company.

AF Fasteners has remained a privately owned company, with a team of 30 dedicated employees.
Now a global supplier, the company’s long history of growth, development and aerospace contribution has continued to this day. In 2015, the business invested in an upgrade and expansion plan to modernise the production line, as well as extensive staff training to ensure the company will continue to develop and offer the aerospace industry the high quality, reliable and innovation service it has become known for.
